Goal 8: Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.
Goal 17: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
As UN mentioned, Covid-19 has caused millions of job losses worldwide and it has made us realize that if we want to achieve sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, international cooperation is essential, especially during difficult times. Both Iceland and China are highly committed to the UN SDGs and our aim is to build stronger connections between Iceland and China, to bridge dialogues of new creative ideas, innovations and technologies between the two countries, to create more business opportunities and employment, and to achieve more inclusive and sustainable economic growth under sustainability frameworks.
